If you allow customers to pay via check or money order, accepting and processing these types of payments will require a bit more maintenance of your store. When customers choose to pay via check, the order status becomes Waiting for payment. You will need to manage your pending sales once you have received payment from the customer.

  1. Begin by logging into your PrestaShop back office.
  2. On the back office welcome page scroll down until you see the pending sales area.

  3. Click on the magnifying glass icon in the Action column next to a pending sale to be taken to the details for that order.

  4. On the order details page, select Payment accepted from the drop down menu and click the Change button.

The order status will be changed to Payment accepted and you can now continue with processing the order (e.g. shipping physical products). Repeat the steps above for any other orders you have received payment for.
