You can reset an email account password at any time through the Email Accounts area in cPanel.

Begin by logging into cPanel

Click on the Email Accounts icon under the Email section of cPanel.

Click the "Change Password" link beside the email account you want to change the password for.

Type in your new password in the Password and Password (again) fields.

Click the Change Password button to save your changes.

Please keep in mind that if you use an email client such as Outlook, Thunderbird, Mac Mail that you will need to update the password in your email client. If you check your email with a device such as a smart phone or tablet, your email password will need to be updated in that device as well.

If you check your email using webmail, you will simply need to use the new password you just reset the email account to.
