After installing bbPress for WordPress, the next thing you'll want to do is create your first forum. In this bbPress tutorial, we are creating an online community where users can post questions in our forums about various Content Management Systems (such as WordPress and Joomla). In this article, we'll walk you through the steps for creating a new forum in bbPress.

To create a new forum in bbPress:
  1. Log into your WordPress Dashboard
  2. After installing the bbPress plugin, you'll see 3 new menu items appear: Forums, Topics, and Replies

Hover over Forums and click New Forum.
  3. Type in a title and description for you new forum, and then click Publish.
    enter-new-forum-details
After clicking Publish, you have successfully saved your first forum!

After creating your first forum, you'll then want to create a page in your menu that users can click to visit your forum.
