How to install bbPress version 2.0 or greater Plugins

The installation of a version 2+ bbPress plugin is as simple as loading a Wordpress Plugin. In fact, it uses the exact same procedure.  This simple tutorial will take you through the steps of obtaining and loading the plugins for bbPress.

Installing the bbPress Plugin

1. Once you have found the plugin that you want to use, download the file locally to your computer, then login the Wordpress Dashboard as an Administrator.
2. Go to the menu item in the Dashboard that says "PLUGINS", then click on Add New. At this point, you will need to select UPLOAD, then choose the file that you downloaded.



3. When the upload is complete, the last step to turn on the plugin is simply to click on the word ACTIVATE.

At this point, the installation is complete and you can then go check your Forum and start using the plugin.
