Backups are not automatically run on our servers and are only run if the account holder has purchased Automated Backups for their account. 

Purchasing Automated Backup Service

If you are not a current customer, when you sign up for hosting there will be an option to also sign up for automated backups. By subscribing to our Backup Service, regular, incremental backups would be performed on your account equal to or less than 10GB in total size. Unfortunately, we would not be able to backup accounts exceeding 10GB. The price for this service is $12.00 per year.

If you are a current customer, you can order backup service from AMP:

1. Login to AMP.
2. Under Additional Services, click the Other link.
3. On the Add Service menu, click the plan you want to add backup service to.
4. Click the link titled "Request Automated Backups (up to 10GB)"
5. Choose your payment method, agree to the terms of service, then click the Submit button. You will be emailed a receipt once the transaction has been processed.
   
   

Limitations of Automated Backups

Please note that the Backup Service runs incrementally every 24-36 hours and is intended for disaster recovery purposes. We urge users to regularly maintain their own local backups in the event that you need to undo changes or restore a damaged site. If your site is  hacked or unwanted changes are made and the damage is not noticed for several days, our backups would have already run and your "good" data would already be overwritten with bad data in the backup. As we only have one backup for your account at any given time, we would not be able to restore a backup from a requested certain date and time.
