Microsoft Expression is the successor of Microsoft FrontPage.  Expression is web design software to help you build your website.  You can also Publish your website from Expression to your server at Web Hosting Hub.

Please note, this article is for new sites created in Microsoft Expression Web. If you are migrating a site from FrontPage to Microsoft Expression Web, please see our tutorial on how to publish a FrontPage Site with Microsoft Expression Web. Sites previously created with FrontPage need to be published through the FrontPage Server Extensions method in Expression Web. That tutorial will walk you through how to do exactly that.

1. Begin by opening your Expression software. In the Menu, click on "Site" and selectPublishing Settings:

   

2. On the next screen, click the Add button to create a new connection:

   

3. Now you will fill out your server information to connect Expression to your server:

   

   Name:	Here you can put in any name for your publishing settings
   Connection Type:	FTP
   Location:	Here you will use ftp://ftp.yourdomain.com.  If that does not work, try just with ftp.yourdomain.com
   Directory:	public_html (if you're working with your main domain name. If you're working with an Addon domain use public_html/addondomain
   User name:	Your cPanel username
   Password:	Your cPanel Password
   Use Passive FTP	Make sure this box is not selected

4. Once you are done, click Add.  Test your connection to make sure you are able to connect.

Now you are ready to publish your website!
