Is the GD Library Installed?

GD library is an open source PHP library that enables images to be dynamically created. For more in depth information on using the GD library, please see these areas of the online PHP Manual:

http://php.net/manual/en/book.image.php

http://php.net/manual/en/ref.image.php

The GD library is installed on all Web Hosting Hub servers. You can test this by creating a PHP info page and then viewing that page in your browser. You should see a section like the following:

gd-library-phpinfo

You can see from this information that the GD library is enabled, as well as other information about the GD library.
