If you are receiving a 406 Not Acceptable error on your website, it is likely related to the mod_security setting on your account.

By default, mod_security is turned on for all hosting accounts.  There are some programs and software that you can use on your account that will require that mod_security be turned off, otherwise the 406 error will appear.  We can turn off mod_security for each domain by request.  If you would like to have mod_security turned off to resolve a 406 Not Acceptable error, please send an email to This email address is being protected from spambots. If sending an email, please include for verification purposes your original cPanel password or the last four numbers of the credit card that we have on file.
