If you forgot your cPanel password, you can reset it in your Account Management Panel (or AMP).  This will allow you to change your password to anything of your choosing. For help logging into AMP, please read our article on accessing your Account Management Panel.

How do I reset my cPanel password?

Once you have logged into AMP, to reset your password:

  1. Under "Account & Billing," click on Details
  2. Next, under "Active Subscriptions" click the Reset Password under your hosting plan
  3. Now you can change the cPanel password for your account.  As recommended, make sure that you use a secure password.  Once you are done, click Submit.

cPanel resets take effect immediately, if you still have trouble logging in please contact our technical support.
