The tracking URL for products being delivered to your customers is an important piece of information that you should provide.  Prestashop allows to you automatically provide the tracking URL to the customer.  The following tutorial will show you how to provide the tracking URL to your customer. 

How to add the tracking URL for a carrier in Prestashop 1.5

  1. Login to the Administration Panel as an Administrator
  2. Hover over the menu bar where it says SHIPPING, and then click on CARRIERS in the drop down menu. This will bring you to a list of the existing carriers
  3. Click on the green ADD NEW button or select the Shipping company that you wish modify and select the EDIT icon on the far right of the screen. Then go to the CARRIERS section and click on URL as per below:

  4. Click on the blank and type in the delivery tracking URL.  Typing an "@" symbol will automatically set where the tracking number will appear.  For example:
    http://trackingurl.com  '@ '
  5. Select the green SAVE button in the top right hand corner of the screen in order to save your entry


The tracking URL is very important to your customer as it will allow them to track their shipment as it approaches its destination.   Provide this information and you enable your customers to track their own shipment without having to continually contact you for confirmation.
