Hello Fish172gmail.com,

Thanks for the question! I'm sorry, but WinSCP will not work with your Web Hosting Hub account. It requires a secure shell connection, which you will not be able to obtain with your Hub account. We have an article that explains using FTP securely with your account: Connecting securely to your website using FTP.

I hope this helps to clarify the issue. Please let us know if you have any further questions or comments.

Regards,
Arnel C.

citiwi9.webhostinghub.com generates the following error in WIN SCP, "The requested address is not valid in its context.
Connection failed."
Thanks for the help.

If I simply try our domain name I'm getting an access denied error. I know the password is correct so I'm not sure which is correct, the actual domain name or the host name.

Hello Fish17@gmail.com,

Sorry to hear that you're having problems with the login. I cannot find an account based on your Support Center login, so it makes it difficult for us to review the issue based on your account. If you can provide a URL, then it would help us to identify the problem. "Citiwi9.webhostinghub.com" would not be a valid FTP address. You would need to use FTP in order to connect with WinSCP.

Please see getting started with FTP for more information on the appropriate format for the path and login criteria used to access your site files through FTP. Also, please note that if your domain name is NOT pointed the hosting server (the name server settings for your domain name), then you will not be able to use the domain name for FTP until it is changed.

If you have any further questions or need further assistance, please let us know.

Regards,
Arnel C.
