I cannot login
I recently registered the domain http://ianbaird.org/ with and
downloaded the associated WordPress software. For the dashboard I was
given the username ******5 and I recorded the password I created.
However, I cannot login with this information. When I ask for a password
reset, the site claims not to recognise either the Username ******5 nor
my registered email address (this email address). Can you tell me why
this is and help me to resolve please.

Hello Ian, Thank you for your question. Since this is a public forum, I have removed your cPanel username for security purposes. Your cPanel, and Wordpress dashboard have separate login pages, here are some examples (be sure to replace domain.com with your actual domain name):
The username you provided looks like it is for cPanel, you can view your cPanel username in AMP, and also reset your cPanel password if necessary. You created your own Wordpress username as part of the installation process. (In Step 4 you enter an Admin username) Here is a link to our walk-through guide on Logging into Wordpress.
