Wordpress login fail

Hi support team,

I just installed Wordpress through Softaculous and tried logging in by adding /wp-admin to the end of my domain, but I keep getting a "page not found error".

Could this be because I installed Wordpress through InMotion, but my site is currently hosted with GoDaddy? I was hoping to work on a test site with a temp URL before transferring hosts.

I have also edited the wp-config.php file to reflect my temp URL.

Please advise about what I'm doing wrong. How do I get to the Wordpress login? Thanks so much.

Hello Yogablend,

Thanks for the question and sorry for the problems with the Wordpress login. The quick answer depends on how you installed Wordpress. I checked and you installed it correctly and the URL that i'm using (the temp url you defined in the wpconfig.php file) is correct. It also works to bring up the site. You might need to clear your browser cache and then you shouldn't see that error. I was able to see both your WordPress site and see the login page.

I hope that helps to get you logged in! Let us know if you still need assistance (remember that questions in the support center are answered from 8:00 AM - 9:00 PM EST).
