To help you get started with your WordPress website, below we have listed a few plugins that we recommend all users to look into further.
WP Super Cache - This is a caching plugin for WordPress. One of the main issues we see with WordPress sites is that if caching is not enabled, it causes some sites to load slower and use more resources. It is highly recommended to install Super Cache to help prevent these issues.
Google XML Sitemaps - To help your Search Engine Optimization and increase your visibility to customers, it is recommended you use the official Google XML Sitemaps widget. This will create a sitemap for your website which search engines look for when they crawl your site.
Akismet - This is a plugin that will help block spam from being posted in your Comments section.
For assistance finding and installing any of these plugins, please see our previous class on installing plugins for more information. To see the next course, please go to Wordpress Photo Gallery and Slideshow Plugins. If you are searching for a summary of the courses in this class, please click on 201: Recommended Plugins.

If you believe your website has been hacked, your best solutions would be to first review any backups that you may have and restore from them. After that, be sure to review all of your plugins and themes, and update them.

I am unable to log in under admin account even after password was reset. Another agent was able to log in However I was unable to log in even using another browser. Please advise as I am unable to access site to explore the problem. My captcha contact page is not working. My email forwarding seems to being sending a lot of new users but they are probably spam |

Hello Lynnette,
Are you getting any error messages? You say you are the only one that is having this issue? Did you complete the password reset? Are you certain there isn't any other factor such as caps lock or anything else going on? Have you tried different devices such as other computers or tablets? Have you also tried other networks? Kindest Regards, Scott M |
