In the previous guide in our Working with Groups & Permissions series, we discussed Working with Page Permissions in Concrete5. In this tutorial, we will cover the option that allows users to set their Time Zones in Concrete5. By default, timestamps will display the local time of the server, when this setting is enabled the users will see the time displayed for ther time-zone, which is setup in their user profile.

Allow User-defined Time-zones in Concrete5:

  1. Login to your Concrete5 Dashboard.
  2. Roll your mouse over the Dashboard button on top and select System & Settings.
  3. Under Basics, select the Time Zone option. This will bring up the Timezone menu.
  4. Check the box for Enable user defined time zones.
