There may be times that you need to redirect traffic from one domain to another. For example, you may need to route all traffic from domain.com to AnotherDomain.com. You can also redirect specific pages, such as domain.com/info.html to AnotherDomain.com/anotherPage.html

redirect1

First, log into your cPanel and click on the "Redirects" button under the "Domains" sub-header:

redirect2

Generally, any redirects will be Permanent (which is the default).  In the drop down choose the domain you want to forward, and then in the redirects to--> box put what domain you want the traffic redirected to.  Once you are done, click on "Add":

Redirecting Options

When redirecting a domain, there are several options you can configure.

www redirection

The www redirection option allows you to configure how to handle redirects in regard to the www subdomain. For example, you can only apply the redirect when www is included (or when it is not), or you can apply the redirect regardless of whether the user types in www or not.

Wild Card Redirect

If you plan on redirecting all pages within domain.com to NewDomain.com, then choose the option for a Wild Card Redirect. For example, selecting this option would redirect domain.com/page.html to NewDomain.com/page.html. Notice that everything after domain.com/ (in this example "page.html" ) was added after NewDomain.com/.

Hello Dani st,

You're asking a question that basically needs some specifics before we can provide answers. If you're trying configure your email to go to another server, you will need to use MX records in order to point the account to your server. This cannot be done by us if we do not have control of your domain. This can be done by at whoever is controlling your domain name. To determine that, simply look at the nameservers for you domain. If they are going to Web Hosting Hub (e.g. ns1.webhostinghub.com), then we control them. I can't tell if we control them based in the info you have given me. Your support center account is not linked to a hosting account. Hopefully, the general information I have provided will give you the information needed to make the change. If you us to make the changes for you, submit a support ticket to support@webhostinghub.com so that live support can resolve it for you. This will keep your account information private.

If you have any further questions, please contact technical support or leave a comment at the bottom of the page.

Regards,

Arnel C.
