There may be times that you need to redirect traffic from one domain to another. For example, you may need to route all traffic from domain.com to AnotherDomain.com. You can also redirect specific pages, such as domain.com/info.html to AnotherDomain.com/anotherPage.html
First, log into your cPanel and click on the "Redirects" button under the "Domains" sub-header:
Generally, any redirects will be Permanent (which is the default). In the drop down choose the domain you want to forward, and then in the redirects to--> box put what domain you want the traffic redirected to. Once you are done, click on "Add":
When redirecting a domain, there are several options you can configure.
The www redirection option allows you to configure how to handle redirects in regard to the www subdomain. For example, you can only apply the redirect when www is included (or when it is not), or you can apply the redirect regardless of whether the user types in www or not.
If you plan on redirecting all pages within domain.com to NewDomain.com, then choose the option for a Wild Card Redirect. For example, selecting this option would redirect domain.com/page.html to NewDomain.com/page.html. Notice that everything after domain.com/ (in this example "page.html" ) was added after NewDomain.com/.
