We are pleased to announce the deployment of PHP 5.3 on our newest server. The default version of PHP will be 5.3 on this server, but there is an option to switch between PHP 5.3 and PHP 5.2 in cPanel. Please see our article How to Switch Between PHP Versions 5.2 and 5.3 for step-by-step instructions.

If you are currently on a server that does not support PHP 5.3 but would like to use PHP 5.3, please submit a request to our Support Department to request an account move. Please make sure you include the cPanel user name or main domain name on the account along with account verification (either your AMP password or last 4 digits of the credit card on file).

I was one of the customers asked to update my password yesterday, which I did, but I wanted to bring it to someone's attention that I was just downloading a backup of my Wordpress site (caseemarie.com) and my antivirus alerted me that the backup file contained a Trojan virus (specifically Trojan.JS.Iframe.wo). The backup was generated last night so it could have to do with the tampering that was done yesterday. I've deleted the file from my computer, but if there are any steps I need to take to address the supposed virus on my site I'd appreciate guidance. Otherwise, just wanted to give Support the heads-up about it. Thanks, WHH!
