Using remote screenshare support

A remote screenshare support session allows our support team to establish a remote connection to view your computer's screen, so we can see everything you see.

Our support team only has the ability to view your screen, and is not able to take control of your computer or make any changes.

Remote screenshare is provided by LogMeIn Rescue, a reactive, permission-based support tool. No permanent software is installed on your PC. Our support team can only view your PC with your explicit permission, which must be granted each time you create a session.

How remote screenshare works

Starting the Session

  1. Once you have connected with our support agent, you may need to show them what you are seeing on your PC.
  2. The representative will generate a six digit code and direct you to remote.webhostinghub.com (The current page you are on).
  3. Enter the code in the form above and click Connect to Technician.
  4. A download will begin for the software needed to connect you to our team.
  5. When the dowload completes you will need to click on it or activate the downloaded file (most likely in your Downloads folder).
  6. A small window will show up asking you to accept the terms and conditions.
  7. Also depending on your PC you may need to allow the program to run as well (another window will pop up for this).
  8. Once the program opens it will attempt to create the connection between you and the technician.
  9. Once both parties have been connected securely it will ask you if you would like to allow our technician to view your screen. These steps are for you and your computers safety.
  10. Once the technician is connected you may show the representative the error you are receiving.

Closing the Session

  1. The program will automatically uninstall itself once you terminate the connection by closing the program.
