I have changed option_name siteurl and option_name home successfully in phpMyAdmin. After doing this, I connected to Filezilla and edited the wp-config.php file on my local site to provide the database name, user name and password I previously created in MySQL database. Next, I copied the edited wp-config.php file from my local site to the public_html folder on the remote site and tried to open my site using my URL. However, the site did not open. I don't know if this is relevant or not, but the wp-config.php file is listed at the bottom of the Filezilla interface as a queued file. Thanks for any help.

Hello CDSherlock,

Sorry to hear that you're having problems with getting your website to appear. I checked out your account and the problem that you're having has to do with the domain name. It apparently is NOT registered with a domain registrar. This will need to be done before you can use the domain name on the internet. Your hosting account does not include a registered domain name.

You can always register your domain name through the AMP or you can use a third party domain registrar - this will be up to you. Remember that once you register a domain that there will be what's called DNS propagation.

If you have any further questions or comments, please let us know.

Regards,
Arnel C.
