How do I know which database on phpmyadmin relates to which website?

I seem to have about 10 databases but I am not sure which one I need. Where can I find out? I have looked inside the databases but cannot tell. Thanks

Hello erindave14,

Thank you for your question. Where your database information is stored depends what type of software (CMS) you are using, for example you can view the database info for Wordpress in the /wp-config.php file.

It will be listed in the /wp-config.php file similar to this:
define('DB_NAME', 'userna99_wrdp');

In this example, the database is named: userna99_wrd

Here is a link to a full list of CMS' and where their configuration files are located and named.
