Hello,

Thank you for your question. When adding a TXT record using the Advanced DNS Zone EWditor, there are a few fields you will need to add values to.

Name: This is the name of the TXT file. You should be getting this information from the site you are creating the record for.

TTL: THis means Time To Live. It is a number representing the number of seconds the record should exist before being refreshed. We recommend 14400 here (4 hours). Some sources will recommend 3600 (1 hour), however we stand by our 14400 for the best server performance.

Type; This of course will be TXT.

TXT Data: This is the actual content of the record. Your source will give you what goes here. Simply paste it in the field.

Kindest Regards,
Scott M
