How do I change my A record?

They say, I have to go on my web host using domain manager. They said something about changing DSN 'A'

Hi bestsalon1,

It sounds like you need to change the A record for your domain name. You can do so using the Advanced DNS Zone Editor in cPanel.

To change your A record:

  1. Log into your cPanel
  2. Click the Advaned DNS Zone Editor under the Domains section.
  3. Under Select a domain, choose the domain you want to change
  4. Under Zone File Records, find your A record, and then click Edit. Make your desired changes for the Address / IP Address, and then click Edit Record


You may need to allow up to 24 hours for propagation.
