Email Troubleshooting

I received following error message from Webhosting hub when trying to send email to my contacts! Normally this is not an issue as this has been working correctly since months now.

Kindly advise what is the issue and how to go about sorting it out. I've pasted the error message below with some edits to remove any sensible info:
From: Mail Delivery System []
Sent: 30 March 2013 09:47 AM
To: [my_email_address]@[a_domain].mu
Subject: Mail delivery failed: returning message to sender

This message was created automatically by mail delivery software.

A message that you sent could not be delivered to one or more of its recipients. This is a permanent error. The following address(es) failed:

SMTP error from remote mail server after initial connection:
host []: 554
SMTP error from remote mail server after initial connection:
host []: 554

Hello Sundeep,

A 554 email error is generally used when there is a generic delivery failure that another email error code doesn't directly define a problem for.

It appears the specific message of this error is:
"SMTP error from remote mail server after initial connection"

In this case, you will want to check the SMTP settings in your email client. Specifically, check to ensure that SMTP authentication is enabled, as some servers check for that and can reject emails if it is not enabled.

Best Regards,
Scott M
