Problem with email duplicate downloads

Hi
I had some issues in my early days with WHH where all my emails downloaded again into my inbox (as in everything since I set up this email account with WHH).
It seemed to have sorted itself out but this happened again last week. In the last 3 weeks or so I have also had the odd email from past history appear in my inbox again.
Can anyone help with this? It doesn't happen to my colleague who is running outlook on a Windows Laptop. I am running outlook on a Mac.
