Deleted forwarder still forwarding

I set a Filter by User for one of my email addresses to be filtered to
my gmail account. It worked. However, I deleted the filter after about 10 minutes (I am testing things), but mail to my email address are still being filtered to
my gmail account. I have checked the password for my email address, and it is okay. What else can I do? What could be the reason?

Hello Hans,

Thank you for your question. I think the issue is with a forwarder from the way you described it. Once it is deleted from your cPanel email forwarder section, it should no longer forward to your gmail account. However, if it is, then it may still be in the list on the server side and need a technician to delete it manually.
