Could not connect via FTP

i could not connect to ftp even i created new user. my filezilla giving that error:
Status: Resolving address of ftp.smgconnected.com
Status: Connection attempt failed with "EAI_NONAME - Neither nodename nor servname provided, or not known".
Error: Could not connect to server

Hello smgconnected,

Thank you for your question regarding issues connecting to FTP. I checked your domain and the DNS is not pointed to our servers. This is causing it to resolve elsewhere resulting in your connection issue.

I recommend pointing to our nameservers or using your server's hostname listed in AMP.
