I understand that we can now provide individual ftp access to our customers that want to use the ftp proccess. Can I have them use the parent (dsimedia.com) as the host or do they need to use their own domain? I understand that their account will be their email address and email password. Is this correct as well ? + port 21? Will this work with all ftp clients?
Thank you, Carl Lucchi DSI Media

Hello,

Thank you for your question regarding FTP access for websites. An FTP account is created when you addon a domain, so you can use that one or create an FTP account.

Yes, they can use any domain name that is pointed to your server here. This should work with any FTP client. You should use port 21, for more information see our full FTP Getting Started guide.

Thank you,
John-Paul
