Hello,

I just recently transferred a domain to hub, I have waited to see if the information was still propagating but everything (emails, AMP technical info, etc.) points to it having been successful, however I still can not log in via FTP. I just get incorrect login errors on FileZilla.

The strange thing is I am still able to access the the previous host with the old login details. Does this mean the domain transfer is still propagating, despite the other signs saying otherwise? Or am I missing something here?

Thank you in advance for the help!

Hello Knottyolly,

The reason you can't use FTP with that domain yet is because of the nameservers. Transfer the domain does not change those settings. I'll give you a link for more information on changing them. It can easily be done within the AMP interface as long as we have control over the domain. You will need to allow for up to 24 hours of propagation time for the change to take effect. FYI - you can also use your server name directly in order to use ftp. I'll email that information separate to keep it private. It will require that you know your cpanel user name and password to login.

How to change nameservers
