Design help with Boldgrid

I need to further customize my Boldgrid site. I have built the site but need help adding elements. I have tried following instructions but I can't seem to make it work. I would like to add text blocks in the Home page Header.

Thank you for your question regarding customizing BoldGrid. You can add a text block to the "Header" using a Widget. Here is a helpful guide on How to Use Widgets in the WordPress Customizer.
