Website Troubleshooting
I cannot get my custom error page to show up on It keeps showing what I assume is the default. I have tried copying and pasting what is in my error page file into the .shtml file in my site folder on ftp. And I tried the same thing using cpanel. I also reset my browser and cleared all date and it is still not showing up. I know I am just missing something but some help would greatly be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Hello Etpools,

Apologies for the problem with the error message and the delay on this answer. Somehow your question slipped by us. I have corrected the issue for you, so it should be good to go. Since you were using a custom 404 page, you would need to specify it in the .htaccess file. Here's the code that needed to go in the .htaccess file:

ErrorDocument 404 /404.shtml

This indicates that the website is using a specifc error page. I hope this helps to explain the issue. Please let us know if you have any further questions or need further assistance.
