How could i hide direct download link in wordpress?

Hello! how could i direct download link in wordpress?
means does it any plugin link docman or phocadownload to hide the direct download link?
all my download urls are like this:
http://www.mysite.com/folder/file.zip
but i want to show these links like this!
http://www.blueibook.com/file/DOIW23sss839DSK37kh3i322

by the way all of my files are free for download!

Hello Zaher-Rajae,

Thanks for the question! If you do not want your files to be able to be scanned directly from the internet, you can use the Index Manager in the cPanel in order to keep that from happening. However, if you are trying to specify the link so that it comes from a location, then you will need to:


  • Create that folder on your website, upload the file there and then provide that link to your users

  • Use a plugin that is able to help you manage your downloads.



I'm not familiar with either of the plugins you listed. You may be interested in checking out WP File base download manager, or search the WordPress plugins list for something similar that will meet your needs simply and also for FREE.
