MailChimp is a web based email marketing and and mailing list manager that makes it easy to create and send newsletters to your mailing list subscribers. There are many options for managing email campaigns and mailing lists, and this is definitely one of the easiest to use.

One of the great features of MailChimp is the Forever Free option. If you have a list of less than 2,000 subscribers, you can send up to 12,000 emails to those subscribers per month for free. With the Forever Free plan, the MailChimp badge will appear in the footer of your emails, and there are a few options available to paid accounts that aren't available in Forever Free, but this is a great option for someone with a small subscriber base. You can also choose to upgrade to one of the paid account options at anytime if your subscription list grows or you want access to all the features of MailChimp.

Signing up for MailChimp couldn't be easier. Simply visit the MailChimp website, click on the Sign Up Free button, and follow the steps to create your MailChimp account.

Once you are signed up for MailChimp, take a little time to familiarize yourself with the options available for creating sign up forms, managing your subscribers, and creating email campaigns.

If you're using a CMS (Content Management System) or e-commerce program such as WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, or PrestaShop to build your site, there are plugins and modules available that make it easy to integrate MailChimp with your site. If you create and edit your site by hand, MailChimp also makes it easy to design forms within their editor and then embed a link or form code on your site.
