Changing your Joomla Admin password
When you manage a administrative account on your Joomla site, you will want to rotate your password for security reasons. This article will teach you how to change your Joomla administrators password through the Joomla Dashboard.
Steps to change your password Joomla 3.1
- Log into your Joomla Dashboard.
Hover over "Users" and click "User Manager".
Click your Administrator account in the list of users.
Type a New Password Twice.
- Click "Save".
Now you will be able to log in with your new password the next time you log into the Joomla Dashboard.
