It is often required to have an informational page available on multiple store fronts carrying the same information, but it may also be required that one or a few individual stores requires a little bit different information.  OpenCart 1.5 allows you to do this with the INFORMATION page list and DATA tab settings where you can enable or disable a page from appearing.  You can also DELETE pages for the stores overall.  The following tutorial will guide the user on how to delete,  disable or unpublish an Information page from a store.

Deleting an Information page from all stores

  1. Login to the OpenCart Dashboard as an Administrator.
  2. Select CATALOG, then click on INFORMATION at the bottom of the drop-down menu.
You may see a list like the following:
    opencart15-information-EDIT
To DELETE an information page from ALL of your stores, then put a checkmark next to the Information title of the page you want to delete, then select DELETE in the far right hand corner. Note that unless you're keeping a backup of this entire site, you can not undo this action.

    ENABLING/DISABLING an Information Page

    1. Login to the OpenCart 1.5 Dashboard
    2. Select the CATALOG menu item and then click on INFORMATION at the bottom of the drop-down menu
Select EDIT to change status of a particular Information Page. Select the DATA tab so that you see the following:
      opencart15-information-data-stores
The example above shows how easy it is to remove a page from a particular store.  If you need to keep the information page, but need to make changes to it, then you can select ENABLE/DISABLE under the DATA tab.  As per the screen capture above, the STATUS of the page can be changed so that it is no longer visible.
You can also disable a page from a particular store is to uncheck the box next the store you do not wish for the page to appear.
      opencart-information-disable1
Once all of your changes are made, make sure to visit the affected store fronts to make sure that your change is applying to the site.
