Depending on your location, you may find a need to modify the order of that your invoice date appears when displayed or printed.  Fortunately, PrestaShop 1.5 provides an interface for making this change.  The following article shows you where to find the location to modify the date format and how to make the change.


Adjusting the Date Format for Invoices in PrestaShop 1.5

  1. Login to the PrestaShop 1.5 Administrator Dashboard
  2. date-format-changeHover over the menu bar where it is labeled LOCALIZATION.  Click on Languages when the drop-down menu appears.  Scroll down until you find the two entries for Date Format.
  3. Click on DATE FORMAT and DATE FORMAT (FULL) fields in order to change the format of the date used within PrestaShop.
  4. Click on SAVE in the top right corner.


To make the change evident, we used a simple format where the YEAR has been moved to the front.  Here's a view of the Administrator backoffice BEFORE the change:

And then, to make the change easy to see, the 4-digit year has been moved.  See the difference in the format (date is in the top right corner) as displayed in the invoice:

delivery and billing address is not showing in the invoice how can i add them?

plz help....

Your customers can put in their delivery and billing address manually or when they set up an account. If they're not showing up on the invoice they may have been submitted incorrectly. This article refers to changing the date format. Were the billing and delivery information present before? Or, was there a change in the settings recently that you know of?
