Understanding the Software Report in PrestaShop 1.5

The Software report allows the administrator to seethe percentage of browsers used to view the site and the percentage of operating systems used by your customers.  You can use this report to determine how you can best serve your customer through interface and also with your inventory.  This article describes the Software report within the PrestaShop 1.5 Administrator.

Using the Software Report Statistics in PrestaShop 1.5

1. Log in to the PrestaShop Admin Dashboard as an Administrator
2. Hover over the end of the menu bar to the right where it is labeled "STATS". Click on STATS when it appears in the drop-down menu.
3. When you get to the main STATS DASHBOARD, go to the left-hand column labeled NAVIGATION, then click on SOFTWARE.  You will see a report similar to the one below:
   
   
   
   After graph you will see the option to export the graph data into a CSV file.  This CSV EXPORT option allows you to take the data and move it into another tool that can be used to further display or analyze the data.

4. If you have filtered the database based on the time options at the top of the screen, then go to SAVE in order to save your entries.
   
   

The Software Report Statistics includes data on the internet browsers and Operating Systems that have accessed your website.  This information can be useful in planning how best to make changes to your site.  Use this data to make programming, interface, and even inventory decisions to best fit your customer needs.
