Setting the number of days that a Product is New in Prestashop 1.5

Some products in your shop may have a period where it can be considered "new".  The following tutorial walks you through setting the option for labeling a product as new in the Prestashop 1.5.

Setting the number of days that a Product is New in Prestashop 1.5

1. Login to the Administration Panel as an Administrator
2. Hover over the menu bar where it says PREFERENCES, and then click on PRODUCTS in the drop down menu. Scroll down the list of options and look for Preferences: Products.  Select Setting the number of days a product is considered 'new' in the menu as shown below:
   
   
   
   
3. Enter the number of days that a product will be considered 'new.' 
4. Select the green SAVE button in the top right hand corner fo the page to save the number of days you had selected.

Setting the option to indicate the number of days that a product is considered 'new' is useful in helping circulate your inventory and show customer products that have recently arrived in your store.
