Whitelisting your IP will allow you to access services that are otherwise blocked my Mod Security. In this article, we will show you how to whitelist an IP in Mod Security using the Modsec Manager in cPanel.

  1. Log into cPanel.

  2. After you have logged into cPanel, click on the Modsec Manager icon.

  3. Inside the Modsec Manager page, navigate the the second section. Here, you will see your IP, as well as a text box to enter an IP address. To whitelist your current IP, simply copy the IP labeled "Your current IP is:" and paste it into the text box. Once it is entered, click on the Submit Query button.

  4. The Modsec Manager page will now tell you that it has successfully added your IP.
