Security Update for JoomlaJoomla! 3.7.1 Release Scheduled for Wednesday (May 17, 2017)

The Joomla! Security Strike Team (JSST) has been informed of a critical security issue in the Joomla! core. The security flaw was found in Joomla 3.7 and resolved with this release (3.7.1). This security release is very important, so if you are using Joomla! then please be prepared to update your site. The security fix will be released on Wednesday May 17, 2017. Note that this security update does not inlcude the upcoming release candidates for version 3.7.1. For more information, please see the official Joomla! release page.
