This time of the year includes many holidays and often brings about a significant increase in outbound spam messages. A server flooded with outbound spam email can negatively affect server resources that lead to slower loading websites hosted on that server. An increase in spam can also result in the server being blacklisted. A blacklisted server is blocked from sending emails.

To stop spam emails, all outbound email is currently being scanned. Scanning the accounts will help stop the generation of thousands of spam emails that are regularly being auto-generated through malware scripts. Email that is being identified as spam will generate the following error message in a bounce-back email:

What to do if your outbound email is identified as spam?

If your outbound email is being identified as spam, then please submit a verified email ticket to our technical support team. Remember to attach a copy of one of the bounce-back messages to the ticket. The technical support team can scan your account and identify any possible malware generating messages from your hosting account. You should also submit a support ticket (with the bounce-back message) if you think that your emails are being falsely identified as spam. The support team will be able to determine if a false positive is being generated for your account.
