The cPanel reset should take place immediately. If you are seeing the login page and getting an incorrect login message, you will want to contact support so they can fix the password issue for you.
To do so, you would need to contact our support department at firstname.lastname@example.org with that request. Be sure to validate your account with either the last 4 digits of the credit card on file, or the current Account Management Panel (AMP) password. Also be sure to include your desired password so they can set it for you.
