In the article it advises this type of issue can be caused by coding in the .htaccess file. I renamed your .htaccess file:
.htaccess.old (which disables it) and the site started loading without the internal server error.
I recommend reviewing and correcting the coding of the .htaccess file, then renaming it back to .htaccess when it has been fixed.
