It is a mess. I tried going back to an earlier version, but had no success in returning to a place where it was actually looking good. When I pre-load [preview] another theme, I am met with the same problem. There is no screenshot that looks anything like the theme should look.It is a bunch of the basic text in a font that is huge and not laid out properly at all. I am thinking that I have to uninstall Wordpress and start all over.

There is a question in this forum about doing that, but the answer was to open the 'Themes' section click on the offending theme and hit delete. I do not see a 'delete' anywhere on the page when I do that.
