I recently took over the administration of a website that was previously run by someone who won't respond to emails. I have the login and password for the site account, but not for the cPanel. Is there any way to reset this?

Barring that, is there at least a way to add a new FTP user without accessing the control panel?

Hello hudaasfour, and thanks for the question.

Unfortunately in order to provide you any kind of access to the website, if you're lacking the cPanel credentials, you would need to contact support@webhostinghub.com and verify the account with either the last 4 digits of the credit card on file, or the current AMP password.

You can always reset your cPanel password from within AMP. However of course that means you already have to have access to AMP.

If you happen to retain the ownership of the domain name registration, then you could also always sign-up for a separate account and have the DNS for the domain name pointed at that account instead.

Please let us know if you have any further questions at all.
