addon domain url is incorrect

I am a new client and have just setup my first addon domain. When accessing my addon domain I type in "domain2.com" and it shows up just fine, as soon as I click any links on my website the url changes to "domain1.com/domain2/link" rather than "domain2.com/link". Any help to change this would be very helpful.

Hello Z32tyler,

Typically, when you see the URL appear as primarydomain.com/add-ondomain.com, it's showing up that way because the URL that you're using has yet to propagate to the internet. If the domain name was recently created or if the name servers were recently changed, then you simply need wait 24 hours for propagation and it will be okay. Check out this article on the subject:
