Hi there, I have just changed my primary domain and would like to add my old domain as a parked domain to cPanel (for old email forwarding etc). However when I try to add the old domain as a parked domain I get the error:

spareboxdesign.com is already configured. Sorry, that domain is already setup (remove it from httpd.conf)

How do I go about resolving this issue?

Hello seank777,

Thank you for contacting us. I looked into this, and the domain (spareboxdesign.com) is already added as an Addon domain, which is why you are getting that error.

If you want to park your domain, you will have to remove the domain as an Addon first.

If you have any further questions, feel free to post them below.
Thank you,

Thanks John - Actually this is the workaround I used to achieve a similar result as parking the domain still would not work.

I decided to utilize some of the features of having an addon domain and keep my spareboxdesign.com website as an addon while the primary domain (seankennedy.com.au) points to the public root (site under construction). Instead of redirecting spareboxdesign.com to seankennedy.com.au, which was my original intent.

Thanks for the response though.
