Currently my limit is the default 8. I teach a class in php and the school server seems to be assigning the same ip address to each student. Can I up my limit to accomadate each student. I would need around 15. Thanks

Hello,

Sorry for the problem with the concurrent session limit for FTP (from the same IP). Unfortunately, there's really no way to limit the concurrent session limit through your account controls. Additionally, each account can only have up to 2 IP addresses per domain name. Shared server cPanel accounts are typically assigned to a single IP. So, unless you had 15 different accounts, you would not be able to isolate the FTP downloads to 15 different IP addresses. Our apologies for this current limitation. I know it's not the best solution, but there are settings in different FTP clients that can limit concurrent downloads/upload, or you can download/upload limits. I hope this helps to answer your question, please let us know if you require any further assistance.

Regards,
Arnel C.
