Getting an error when creating new mail account

"That is not a valid email address"

I entered my domain name correctly and it is not a duplicate email account.

Any ideas why?

Thank you for your question rhinojos!

When setting up an email account in cPanel only the user name needs to be entered for the email address. Adding the @domain.com on the username will give this error.
