Do I need to setup new e-mail addresses?

I am transferring my hosting from 1and1. My domain is also my primary e-mail address, although it is tied to Google Apps. Do I need to create that same e-mail address on your host now? Do you have instructions on setting that up with Google Apps?

If your email is still tied with Google Apps, you will not need to re-create them. To configure your mail to use Google Apps, simply follow our guide on changing your MX records for Google Apps. After the change has taken place, allow 4-24 hours for DNS propagation.
