Wordpress and SSL problem
Hi,
I have a problem with SSL. I use Wordpress, my site is www.torrettapizza.it
My settings in wordpress for "WordPress Address (URL)" and "Site Address (URL)" is : https://secure34.webhostinghub.com/~*****/torrettapizza.it
In . htaccess I have added :
RewriteEngine On
RewriteCond %{SERVER_PORT} 80
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ "https\:\/\/secure34\.webhostinghub\.com\/\~*****\/torrettapizza\.it$1" [R,L]
If I write in browser https://www.torrettapizza.it a warning comes out that the site is unsafe, if I want to proceed…
If I write in browser http://www.torrettapizza.it I see the site but in address bar I see https://secure34.webhostinghub.com/~*****/torrettapizza.it/
My questions:
1. How to make that https://www.torr.... Open the site as it open with http://www.torr...
2. Is it possible to remove https://secure34.webhostinghub.com/~*****/torrettapizza.it/ and leave only https://www.torrettapizza.it

Hello Vladimir, Thank you for your question regarding testing your site. I recommend setting your "Site Address (URL)" to "http://www.torrettapizza.it" of if you have an SSL installed you can use "https://www.torrettapizza.it". As long as the domain is pointed to our nameservers it will resolve successfully. If you want to test before pointing the nameservers you can use a host file modification. Thank you, John-Paul |
